12cm stockingnet (Cotton)

Padding rolls cut 10 and 15cm wide from 4 meter long rayon quilt padding, purchased at a cloth shop.

For each LLC I used One 10cm wide roll for foot, ankle and lower leg. And one 15cm for knee to thigh. 3M ScotchCast Plus 12.7cm (5") 4 rolls per LLC. 1 Foot and ankle to lower leg, 1 Lower leg to over knee, 1 under knee to thigh, 1 upper leg-thigh

(If I had a narrower roll, I would have used it to finish off the top more professionally.)

Small strips of 1/4" foam rubber were needed to prevent rubbing at top. Stuck them in after cast was finished. (That's those flaps visible in some of the pics.)

The ridges on the thigh part happened when I decided to make the LLC's exteremly high. (Though of perhaps extending them into a DHS, but never did.)

Each 'walking heel' was made from an old heavy foam mouse pad, cut into strips, Two and one-half strips per walking sole. The two full length strips were glue gunned together and the 1/2 strip cut into a small front and large back segment. These were then glued onto the rest. The flat side was placed against the cast foot and the space between the two segments allowed the fiber tape to hold it nicely in place.
