A winter night out.
Our last adventure was a short one, but as usual was very enjoyable. We had planned a weekend but as things go we ended up with just half of Saturday, Saturday night and part of Sunday. We left at about 1:00 in the afternoon and drove South about an hour and a half away. We got a nice room in a holiday Inn and was settled in by 3:00.
Of coarse I was anxious to start wrapping plaster on Molly, and being the sweet thing she is she cooperated. I quickly retrieved the necessary supplies and, after removing some clothing from her that she would not be able to wear for awhile, I set to work. I had something different in mind this time and seeing as though I was sure she would want this cast off in a few hours when it was time for her to go to sleep, I figured it was a good time to try it. I pulled stockenett up the full length of her right leg, I usually cast her left leg because we usually travel when she is casted and I like that cast sitting in my lap. I then wrapped her leg from toes to the top of her thigh in cotton padding. Here's where I experimented a little. I started wrapping the plaster from the top. It worked well. I wanted to put a pretty good angle in her knee. With her foot still free, I was able to keep that on the floor and that helped to keep the angle I wanted at the knee. I plastered her from upper thigh to ankle and molded and smoothed it. When it had set, I moved her to the bed, proping her cast up so that the unfinished foot part was hanging over the edge, making it easy to work on this part. When doing the foot I turned it inward quite a bit. I had always liked casts done this way. It makes the castee look all that more awkward and helpless. It came out really good. Molly on the other hand didn't care to much for that foot position, but it was just for a few hours. After the cast was compleated we relaxed awhile and let it dry. We watched TV a bit and enjoyed each others company. Of coarse I also enjoyed that cast on her.

About 6:00 or so we decided it was time to get something to eat. I had found a pair of her jeans that had a hole in her right knee, figuring they would end up being shorts this summer anyways, I cut the right leg off them. I got them over her cast and she finished getting dressed. I got her crutches and we headed out. Not far down the road was a nice steak house. we parked the truck and went in to find it was very busy. Much to my delight but not to hers, the hostess said it would be a 45 minute wait. Some how we got lucky and almost the same time we got to the bar another couple got up and we got their seats. We got Molly up on the bar stool and ordered some drinks. It worked out great the way she was sitting her cast was on the side towards the resterant. I love showing off my work and everyone in there could see it. I'm sure if there was a caster there, they got a good look. The problem is I didn't notice anyone that even took another look.
It seemed we got seated way sooner than 45 minutes. Time flys when your having fun. Dinner was great, how could it not be with a beatuifull woman in a long leg cast. I couldn't see the cast through dinner, but her foot was propped up right between my legs and I rubbed her toes the whole time. After dinner I walked behind her as she crutched out of the resterant. She got a few looks but all night no one really seemed that interested. Well, I was, so I took her back to the motel and really enjoyed my casted sweetie. I tried to reward her for her doing this for me as I usually do. I don't think she was dissapointed.

That cast came off that night around midnight or so. We really didn't have enough time to cast her the next day so she got that day off. We went to a few Malls and enjoyed being together without the kids, but all day I was thinking how great it would have been to have her in that cast for all this. I always want more.
This cast came out great as far as I was concerned. I really loved the position of the foot. She didn't like it too much though.

I hope you enjoyed this "photo Diary". I hope to have some more of some of our other adventures soon.
