German Title: "Stirb für mich" "The film is a TV production and I did not see it, so I do not know whether there are other casting scenes. The author of the screen play is Nicolas Evans ('The Horse Whisperer'). What is interesting is, that the horse whisperer also deals a lot with broken bones."

A tragic love story under the sun of Barcelona, from the book by Nicholas Evans ('The Horse Wisperer'). On a backpack trip in Barcelona with his friend Stefan (Felix Eitner), the congenial son of a business man, Christian (Kai Wiesinger) falls head-over-heels in love with the fiery beauty Paloma (Ana Alvarez). The trip, friend and future plans are forgotten. Christian is hopelessly captivated by the charms of the Spanish woman. Their planned marriage causes a scandal in Christian's wealthy family - particularly since his father (Michael Mendl) discovers the dark past of his daughter-in-law as a prostitute and a nightclub dancer . Immediately the parental allowance is stopped, and Christian is by himself with his bride in a foreign land. A further bit of bad luck: the menacing presence of Ramon (Antonio Valero), Paloma's supposed brother. When Christian casually mentions his life insurance, the devious brother-in-law concots a plan. On a mountain path an accident will be faked, in which Christian supposedly is killed. Ramon will get a suitable corpse from a coroner friend of his. Paola, as wife, would receive the insurance payment of three million Marks. Reluctantly, Christian is finally persuaded to participate in this bloody scheme.
