This site features original pictures of persons with orthopedic conditions from books, journals, newspapers, videos and photographs. In addition, the collection of modified images , "mods" , based on these and non-orthopedic pictures form an expanding database of pictures for the enjoyment of cast lovers all over the world. Our purpose is to encourage those interested in art to use these and other non-commercial orthopedic images as a nucleus to create new pictures for presentation on the web.
