Letters from Phyllis

This is a story about two sisters, Fran age 27 and Phyllis age 25. Fran works at the OAG as the curator's assistant. She is the bright one. Phyllis often makes funny statements that indicate she is not a rocket scientist, but everyone loves her and she loves everyone. The only thing she remembers from English class is Will Roger's line: "I never met a man I didn't like."

Both Fran and Phyllis are natural born casters. They used to play doctor when they were little. And squabble over who would get to wear the make-believe cast. After Phyllis finally finished high school they got an apartment together and revelled in cast making to their heart's content. This experience paid off later when Phyllis went to work for CaraPlast Medical Supply Company.

This job gives Phyllis a chance to travel and meet interesting people. She keeps Fran and JD informed of her experiences by mail. She usually wears a cast to single's bars since she discovered long ago it's a great attention getter. Sometimes she meets people there who are also wearing casts and she wonders if they are real or not. But she goes along with them in good fun. Although she has a sharp eye for a cast, she is a little gullible and is ready to believe any story from the suffering cast wearer.
