4/9/01 A surprising documentary on MTV called True Life: I'm a Cheerleader: This includes a girl who must've sprained her ankle (pic 1), a girl who broke her foot (pix 2-7), and the last two pix are of a girl who sprained her knee just before the finals. Can you believe a broken foot and no cast? These are serious athletes, no kidding! This show reairs several times this month. I'll post a schedule on the OAG MSG Board.

3/13/04 Pix from a special about the Women's World Cup Soccer team. Brandi Chastain breaks her foot and wears a camwalker and is on crutches. Sadly Team USA needed her and lost in the World Cup.

2/14/01 From the movie Bring It On, Bianca Kajlich plays a cheerleader who falls off a pyramid and "breaks her leg". She's seen in the out-takes at the end of the movie. Some funny shots of her dancing with the crutches to the song "Mickey." Kirsten Dunst (blonde) and Eliza Dushku are seen in the foreground of the pix. (DVD captures)

4/10/01 From Here on Earth, Leelee Sobieski's character has bone cancer. She hurts her knee a little over an hour into the movie. This movie isn't very good but some nice shots of her in the knee brace. Couldn't she be Helen Hunt's daughter? This airs on HBO all through this month, and probably next month.

11/06/04 From an Olympic Beach Volleyball, USA vs. China. Just a knee brace but it's something. The knee brace is on one of the Chinese players. She seemed very active and agile in the brace, so I assume it was preventative. USA won of course.

3/15/99 Pictures of Real World II member Beth. She participated in a Real World/ Road Rules Challenge and sprained her ankle rollerskating in a roller derby. She was a bit of a ham. I doubted the seriousness of her injury, and thought she was just trying to get sympathy. Not to say she really wasn't injured, but I think she overexaggerated it. She is after all a wannabee actress (the perfect potential castees I think). See if you can see any swelling or tell anything from the x-ray.

2/24/99 At last, these are stills from the Pert Plus "Sink Boy" ad campaign. Yes, the commercials are annoying, but they did give a pretty good glimpse at a pretty girl in a camwalker. I'm posting three different views because I didn't quite know which one was the best quality. Enjoy! I'd like to konw your opinions of this. The added pic is of her face. Someone requested her face be seen closeup. She really is quite lovely.
Ok, one vote for a slc so far, and I think he's right. It looks like a slc with a boot. More thoughts?

2/18/99 Two pictures from an episode of Mystery!. The character was pushed down by her "boyfriend" and hurt her ankle. She was crutching with forearm crutches, but she's not really wearing a cast. It either looks like some sort of soft cast or white bandage thing.
