I define the Leg Man as someone who is focused on leg casts. Arm casts just don't do it. Although the Leg Man can find pleasure in wearing leg casts himself, it seems to be more common that the Leg Man is more interested in looking at others, man or woman, in leg casts. Perhaps the Leg Man enjoys uncasted legs as well, but the cast seems to accent the leg of a man or woman. The exposed toes on one end and the exposed thigh on the other end appear to be a key focus of the Leg Man
I find women in leg casts the sexiest. Arm casts don't really do anything for me so it isn't just that a person is in a cast. I really am attracted to women’s feet and toes and there's nothing that shows off toes like a leg cast, right? Its the ultimate open toe leg wear. Sprained ankles interest me very much as well. It's the same "toe show effect" as long as they aren't wearing a sock. Her being on crutches is sexier than say a walking cast. In fact I would probably prefer a women with sprained ankle on crutches over a women in a walking cast (it's close though).
I define the Self-Caster as a person who doesn't care about seeing others in casts, but loves to wear casts himself. A Self-Caster may or may not see anything special about someone else who is casted. The focus here is on the "self". It's more important for these individuals to be casted themselves rather than seeing others wear a cast or looking at pictures of others in casts.
I'm 38 and very experience in casts/casting. I have worn several due to medical and recreational reasons(have 2 cases each of 4 inch f'glass and plaster and waiting for the right time to make use of it) My ultimate cast fantasy would be to be totally covered in a full body cast (like the one in the e-mail that you received) but in plaster.Would accept fiberglass as it dries faster and sets up quicker--just doesn't have the appearence/feel of plaster.
Dualism, like it sounds, goes both ways. A Dualist likes both being casted and looking at others in casts. This definition can be taken many ways. A Dualist may like casting or looking at casts more than the other. They may like both equally. But they must like both aspects. For me, the desire to be casted came first. The admiration and jealousy of others in casts came after this desire to be casted. An existing desire to be casted seems to draw people toward looking at others in casts. Another type of dualist is the person who saw, knew, or perhaps had an infatuation with a casted person. A cast is a fairly dramatic even in any person's life. Breaking a bone can, of course, be dramatic. But the cast as an object can also make an imprint on a person, even if that person isn't the one in the cast. Therefore, the cast becomes the memory perhaps as much as the person becomes the memory.
An important thing to remember is that this doesn't have to be a memory of the opposite sex, i.e. sexual memory. For example, seeing Uncle Bob crutching in his long leg cast has a lasting impression on a seven year old kid. That seven year old kid now wonders what it's like wearing that cast, using those crutches, and getting all that sympathy and attention. Perhaps a Dualist admires the sensual aspect of a cast on another as well as the attention and feeling a cast on oneself can give. I think that it's probably the case that more Dualists come from a memory of a peer (someone of the same age) being casted rather than just good old Uncle Bob. Uncle Bob might be culprit, more so, in the case of the Self-Caster than in the Dualist, but both could be true.
I have had a cast fetish for a long time. The earliest I can remember is the sixth grade when a girl I had a crush on broke her ankle and was in a plaster walking cast for several weeks. Since then, my cast "fetish" has grown and evolved. At first, I just wanted to wear a cast, any cast. I wanted the attention of others and to feel what it would be like to not have the use of an arm or leg (also to get out of P.E. class). Then in high school, my girl friend broke her knee and wore a LLC for 8 weeks. I discovered that I was attracted to her and her cast in a sexual way, although I wasn't sure why. When I was in college and could have weekends and holidays to myself, I began to experiment with self casting and thoroughly enjoyed being restrained. When my wife and I got married and I recealed my cast fetish to her, I grew to where I am today. When I am casted, I enjoy the restraint/bondage aspect of it. However, when my wife allows me to cast her, I aspire to apply the "perfect" cast. Her cast(s) must be anatomically correct with just the right amount of toe and/or finger showing; not too thick and not too thin.
When I spot another person in a cast, I look to see how the cast was applied; is it pleasing to the eye? There is nothing more sexy to me than a well applied cast which is not too decorated and not too dirty! If they are wearing a cast shoe, the toes MUST be visable!
The Specific Caster is interested in details- primarily involving others who wear casts. Their tastes in casts are "specific". The Specific Caster is not satisfied with your everyday casted person. The need for "longed sleeve top and skirt" in the below message is good example of the tastes of a Specific Caster.
I'm not quite sure how to further this definition without sounding judgmental. I don't, in any way, want to condemn or judge anyone's casting tastes. I also don't want give the impression that the tastes of these casters are somehow "out there". It could just be a subtle thing that they like to see. For example, some casters like to see a sock on the end of the cast, covering the toes. Some casters don't want a sock blocking their view of the toes. Whereas some casters aren't bother by these and other specifics (like the example below), a Specific Caster will not have any part of casting if it doesn't fit their criteria for the cast. I'd like look more closely into this type of caster. Any thoughts, examples, or opinions relating to this type of caster is very welcome.
Do you find a man or woman in a cast sexy? If so, why? Unfortunately for me, it depends on the type of cast and clothing. I find any woman over 18 with a cast on one arm attractive as long as her hands aren't covered by gloves, but cast on both arms don't work for me. Also I have no interest in leg cast unless the woman is wearing it with a long sleeved top and a skirt. I do however find women wearing patch over one eye extremely attractive. I know it sounds strange but that's the way that I am and I have no idea why!

My cast adventures include a recreational llc....for approx 5 months then
into a hinged cast for 3 weeks then a slc for a final two weeks...I did that
on either leg approx 5 yrs apart...so a little over six months...then I
"broke" a scaphoid..I kept on a las ? for 5 months then a sas for 2
months..then took it off for two months..I was so lonely for it I faked a
further injury and repeated the whole process so in all I was casted for 14
months out of a sixteen month period..after I took the cast off I had a
brace made & wore it for a further month or so..I do have some pics some of
which have been published...but my son is now curious about casting also..so
I have to be careful.

Question: If you could choose a real medical reason for having a cast, what injury would it be and what cast would it need?

For me, it is my right ankle. I have sprained my ankle many times and I
want to have a long leg cast. I have had many short leg casts, but have never
broken my leg or ankle. I want to break my ankle or have it broken before
I turn 35 which is in another 6 years. This may seem weird to some
people, but for me; " i got tired of doctors telling me that I would have
been better off breaking my ankle." i told one doctor, "There's my ankle.
Break it for me! He thought I was nuts!!

In answer to your cast question on your web site: If I were in a real medical cast, I would like a hairline lower leg fracture - a long leg cast with crutches would be needed, but only for 2-3 weeks. As such, publicking would be nice, but not lose it's appeal after months of tiresome crutching.
I could be casted for up to 1 year. Probably 2 llcs or a dhs.

Question: I have a fantasy of a celebrity in a cast. Jewel breaks her wrist and ends up in a fiber white SAC. I, as a guitarist (I really do play the guitar although I do admit I would'nt really be up to this duty) would be called to take over her guitar duties. She would sit on a stool, with her SAC, singing her songs and I would be playing them on the guitar for her. What is you're celebrity cast fantasy?

My fantasy is: Alicia Silverstone happens to be at a Boston area hospital,which just happens to be the area where I live, and she happened to break both arms falling down a set of stairs and 2 lac thumb spica casts on. I, not realizing it was her, see her at the hospital where I happened to have an appointment for my sore wrist (carpal tunnel syndrome) and I just happened to think that she was some cute blonde girl wearing 2 lac's. I ask her if I could sign her cast and we end up dating and getting married and end up living in Los Angeles.
Your Jewel fantasy was pretty cool. I myself am a bass player. I'm in 2 bands. O.K., my celebrity fantasy would be Jenny McCarthy and me at a skiing lodge. One day she and I go skiing but she falls and breaks her leg. She ends up in a black fiber llc and is forced to stay in bed, so I have to take care of her, i.e. bring her meals, feed them to her, and paint her toe nails a matching black. I know that’s probably not much but I think jenny has beautiful feet.
